China Suppliers Factory Universal Brass Tubing H62/H65/H68/HPb59-1/H70 for Refrigeration, Bathroom, HVAC Applications
Brass Tube
Brass tubing is lightweight, has good thermal conductivity, and high low-temperature strength. It is commonly used in the manufacture of heat exchange equipment (such as condensers) and in the assembly of cryogenic pipelines in oxygen production equipment. Small-diameter copper tubing is often used to transport pressurized liquids (such as in lubrication systems and hydraulic systems) and as pressure measuring tubes in instruments. Brass tubing is robust and corrosion-resistant.
💡
Key Advantage: Copper tubing is hard, not easily corroded, and resistant to high temperatures and pressures — allowing it to be used in various environments where other materials fail.
Compared to brass tubing, many other tubing materials have obvious disadvantages. For example, galvanized steel pipes, commonly used in residential buildings in the past, are extremely prone to corrosion, leading to problems such as yellowing tap water and reduced water flow after a short period of use. Some materials also experience a rapid decrease in strength at high temperatures, posing safety hazards when used in hot water pipes. However, because copper has a melting point as high as 1083°C, the temperature effect of hot water systems on brass tubing is negligible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q
What are the main applications of brass tubing?
Brass tubing is widely used in heat exchange equipment such as condensers, cryogenic pipelines in oxygen production equipment, lubrication systems, hydraulic systems, water pipes, refrigeration systems, electric heating, air conditioning (HVAC), oil cooler pipes, and various industrial applications.
Q
What sizes and specifications are available for brass tubing?
Our brass tubing is available with an outside diameter ranging from 2mm to 914mm and wall thickness from 0.5mm to 80mm. Standard lengths include 1m, 2m, 3m, 4m, 5.8m, and 6m, or custom lengths as required by the customer.
Q
Which international standards does your brass tubing comply with?
Our brass tubing complies with multiple international standards including ASTM (American), JIS (Japanese), DIN (German), GB (Chinese), and EN (European) standards, covering grades such as C21000, C2200, C23000, C2800, C2700, and C26800.
Q
Why is brass tubing preferred over galvanized steel pipes for water systems?
Brass tubing is highly resistant to corrosion, unlike galvanized steel pipes which tend to corrode quickly — causing yellowing water and reduced flow over time. Additionally, brass has a melting point of 1083°C, making it highly stable in hot water systems where other materials may weaken or pose safety risks.
Q
What processing services are available for brass tubing orders?
We offer a full range of processing services including bending, decoiling, welding, punching, and cutting. Custom processing requirements can also be accommodated based on project specifications.
Q
What are the available shipping and pricing terms for brass tubing?
We support flexible international trade terms including Ex-Works, CIF, FOB, CFR, and CNF. Our products are regularly exported to countries including South Korea, India, the UK, Singapore, Dubai, and more. Please contact us for a detailed quotation based on your destination and order quantity.
